Discreet Marketing

Kings Lynn Estate Agents Sale agreedThe Trehearn family needed to move from Great Massingham to a location nearer Mrs Trehearn's workplace. They invited Millsopps to advise them on the suggested asking price and the possible sale of their property. The family were keen to explore the housing market in a discreet way initially - to see if they could find a buyer for their home - without the use of full marketing of the property with internet coverage, advertising and a For Sale board.

Millsopps senior negotiator, Dale Newson, called one of his cash buyers and arranged an appointment to view. The buyer viewed a second time and Dale negotiated a sale for the owner which completed in just eight weeks.

Millsopps know that whilst in a difficult market it is important to utilise all marketing techniques to achieve a successful sale at an acceptable price and that some vendors do like to test the market initially before marketing the property fully.

You may wish to pre market in this way before the end of the year and then be ready for the 2012 property market in West Norfolk.

Call Millsopps to discuss a variety of ways to achieve your move in 2012.

Hospice hold-up

Gary Getting ArrestedThis week Millsopps' branch manager publicly arrested and carted off to jail...

...All in the name of charity of course. Millsopps branch manager, Gary Davison was arrested at 9.50am on Wednesday, 2 March, 2011. He was handcuffed by members of the police force and taken to jail before being offered up for bail at the Town Hall. Luckily for Gary bail was offered at £500 for his release.

He said: "I was arrested at work, bundled into a car and there was a town cryer shouting my name outside the office. I'm pleased colleagues and work associates put up the bail money for me, otherwise it could have been a very long day!"

The £500 was raised for Norfolk Hospice who provide care for people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Amanda Standen, events organiser at Norfolk Hospice said: "The money will go towards nursing care for patients, both in their own homes and in the day centre in the hospice."
